The work our students put into the world.

Dunalastair School students spent the Fellowship identifying a problem they cared about, then designing a real response to it. Apps, ventures and community proposals, presented live.

Global Scholar Mentor

An app built to help students find scholarships more easily, and to help them put together the application profile ("application card") that most students don't know how to create. The purpose is to help students not give up on their dreams. The app isn't finished yet, it's still a work in progress, and Amanda hopes to complete it and present the final version.

Food Waste

The project is about food waste and how it affects daily life, the environment, people with limited resources, and fertile land.

School Workshop for Upcycling

A proposal to create an upcycling workshop at school, encouraging students to reuse their garments.

PathlyFitness

A fitness app that uses trained AI to personalise workout routines, scan meals, and track overall progress, helping users advance from beginner to advanced level.

Building The Future

Municipal kindergartens in Santiago often run limited schedules that do not match the needs of working parents, leaving children aged 2 to 4 without cognitive and social stimulation during unsupervised hours. Alicia proposes a community-based program that uses existing infrastructure such as community centres and libraries to provide structured, play-based stimulation after school hours, staffed by university students in early childhood education programs.

Developing a Strong Sense of Identity in Adolescence

The project is about the importance of developing a strong sense of identity, and proposes a solution for adolescents who experience a lack or absence of identity.

How Can AI Simplify Online Shopping

Aims to simplify finding products online so Chilean online shoppers stop wasting time and effort searching, through an app with AI that guides shoppers to the best option.

The Informatic Gap

Addresses the gap between what universities teach and what the job market currently demands in IT-related careers. Universities focus on theory while most jobs require experience. Bootcamps and other courses help close that gap, but some people cannot afford them and end up at a disadvantage, expected to have the same knowledge as those who paid for practical experience.

Stray Dogs: Our Responsibility, Our Solution

A community program that helps stray dogs through sterilisation, veterinary care, and adoption. By working with the municipality, organisations, schools, and volunteers, the goal is to reduce the number of stray dogs and protect both animals and the community.

TempoFlow

A time-management app that uses AI to help organise your time better, made for people who struggle with procrastination and time management, and for those who are generally very busy.

LifeHabit and Alternative Plan for Procrastination

Made up of two alternative solutions to procrastination: one is an app called LifeHabit, the other is a plan and method for spreading a way to beat procrastination.

Drought

Explores drought as a major environmental challenge, examining its impact on agriculture, ecosystems and communities. The project reviews possible solutions, including desalination, fog catchers and modernised irrigation, before focusing on desalination as a long-term solution, weighing both its benefits and its challenges.

This is what your child is capable of when you stop waiting.

Every project on this page was conceived, built, and defended by a young person who, six weeks earlier, had never shipped anything. They were mentored by Harvard students, held to a real standard, and judged by a live panel. The apps are live. The work is theirs. This is the portfolio they walk away with.
