Onward Fellowship is an initiative of Learn with Leaders. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through joinonwards.com, including our program application forms, information session and masterclass registrations, and our secure checkout at /pay.
Applicant and family details you submit through our forms: student name, student email, parent or guardian name, parent email, phone number, country, city, school, grade, the program and cohort selected, and any additional notes or responses you provide.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form and are not stored on our servers. We retain the payment status, amount, currency and reference associated with your application.
Technical and referral information: pages visited, device and browser information, and campaign parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) that tell us how you found us.
To review applications and communicate about eligibility and cohort placement.
To send confirmation emails, letters of acceptance, payment links, payment reminders and session details such as joining links for online sessions.
To deliver the program itself, including sharing the necessary details with the mentors assigned to your cohort.
To issue certificates, keep program records, and improve our programs and website.
Mentors and program staff, limited to the information needed to teach and support the student.
Stripe, our payment processor, for processing and confirming payments.
Our backend and email delivery providers, which store application records and send program emails on our behalf.
Google Analytics, which we use to understand website traffic.
Partner schools and organisations, where you apply through a program run jointly with your school.
We do not sell personal information.
Our programs are designed for Grades 5-12, so some applicants are under 13. Applications for students under 18 should be submitted or approved by a parent or legal guardian, and we ask for a parent or guardian email on every application so that a responsible adult is copied on program communications.
A parent or guardian may ask us at any time to review, correct or delete the information we hold about their child.
We keep application, enrolment and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the program, issue certificates, and meet our accounting and record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond as quickly as we can.
We use Google Analytics cookies to measure website traffic, and our checkout uses cookies set by Stripe to process payments securely. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the checkout may not work correctly without them.
Application records are stored in access-controlled databases, and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us.
